Nestled into the side of a wooded valley, Fachddu translates from Old Welsh into Dark Hollow.
I have been fortunate to have learnt to throw, glaze and fire by my father. I was first on wheel making pots around since the age of four.
Since then I dipped in and out of the pottery and always enjoyed making.
It was during my acupuncture degree that I became inspired to start making Chinese Tea sets, for friends and for pleasure.
Since then my passion for throwing on the wheel has grown as has my desire to create beautiful work that can enjoyed in homes. Each peice stives to be best that I can create, the process is difficut and rewarding.
